     cryptography, or hand over keys or signing material;
  3. has NOT received any gag order preventing updates to this statement;
  4. has NOT been compelled to modify published research notes, systems
     or releases in any way that would undermine what they document;
  5. retains full, sole control of the laboratory's infrastructure and
     signing keys.

I would rather remove this statement entirely than publish one I know to
